Overall Experience
Past Review Fantastic!
Confident in my fluency, made some good friends, figured out what I want to do. Very worthwhile. - Oberlin College View Entire Review
I would never change my time abroad. I learned about a new culture and about myself. Being able to live in a foreign country teaches you a lot about yourself and managing yourself. Above all, the cultural experience and immersion we received was unique, rich, and multidimensional. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
Past Review New
becoming more comfortable with my spanish was great, getting to travel to new places was incredible - definitely worthwhile - Wellesley College View Entire Review
I learned how to converse in Spanish, I learned how to take the time to enjoy my day more, and I learned how wonderful Spanish culture is. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
I had an amazing experience in Córdoba and with my host family. I learned an enormous amount about myself and my goals and now know exactly what I want in life. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
I think the cultural exposure was the most important part. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
Past Review Salvaje En Spain
Yes. I gained an independence and self-confidence in being able to learn a foreign language and navigate a different culture. I also made an effort to travel and went to a few places by myself (I spent Semana Santa hiking the Camino de Santiago in Galicia), which was incredibly worthwhile and completely recommended. Traveling al... - Wellesley College View Entire Review
I learned a lot about Spanish culture, politics, etc. I was able to practice my Spanish daily. I was able to make new friends from Spain and other European countries. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
I gained much more travel experience; I was able to visit countries that I don't think I would otherwise ever get to see. I learned a lot more Spanish, and a lot more about Spanish culture as well. It's one thing to read about Spain and speak Spanish in class, it's another to experience it firsthand. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
I learned a lot about Spain, in a special way through living with a host family in a vibrant and accepting small city. It was definitely worthwhile. PRESHCO is very well put together program--they think of everything! And lastly, Cordoba may be one of the best, if not the best, place to study Spanish in Spain because Spanish is ... - Wellesley College View Entire Review
Even though Spain is in Western Europe, there are still a lot of cultural differences/challenges between Spain and the US (i.e. smoking, eating schedule, drinking, socializing at university, etc.). I loved my experience. I made some really good friends and got to travel all around Western Europe and to Morocco. Cordoba is a beau... - Wellesley College View Entire Review

Past Review So Chill
I loved living in Spain with my friends who were going through the same immersion process. It was a lot of fun and a good break from Wellesley. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
I got to travel a lot and experience different cultures. I definitely improved on my Spanish although not as much as I wanted, but it was the best decision I made. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
I learned Spanish and how to adapt, accept and live in a different culture - Smith College View Entire Review
Being abroad first and foremost taught me how to "be a person" as weird as it sounds. Especially being in such a relaxed place like Spain, I was able to understand what it meant to learn for the sake of learning, be productive and successful, have time to enjoy myself, immerse myself in exciting and new situations, etc., all wit... - Smith College View Entire Review
I enjoyed having the opportunity to be in a culturally different environment. I also improved on listening skills in the language and gained more confidence in my speaking. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
I learned to take a break and it was good to be taken care of for a change. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
I learned so much about Spanish and European culture and also about myself and I came back a much more independent confident person. It was one of the most worthwhile things I've ever done. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
Language was the biggest thing. Host family is amazing to live with. Travel opportunities wonderful! - Wellesley College View Entire Review
I gained significant language experience, as well as very worthwhile travel skills that improved my confidence. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
My experience was absolutely worthwhile, and I miss it all the time. It showed me that I can happily live abroad for an extended period of time, and gave me more confidence living only in Spanish. I was able to travel and see more of the world, and I made amazing new friends. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
It was 100% worthwhile not only for improving my language abilities but for cultural immersion as well. Living in the Spanish culture was a revelation. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
My Spanish fluency massively improved, my love of travel grew, and I generally had a relaxing semester! It was good to take a break from Wellesley to get some more cultural exposure and re-charge my brain! - Wellesley College View Entire Review
I learned a lot more about myself and how I cope in a completely foreign situation. This experience was definitely worthwhile, and I wish I had spent two semesters in Córdoba. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
It was definitely worthwhile. PRESHCO gave me a personal and thorough trip into the culture of Spain (this comes from the amazing staff, well-planned excursions, the host families in the program, and the fact that it's a small program in a small city) that, from talking with other friends about their study abroad programs, is r... - Wellesley College View Entire Review
