The University of Alberta continually strives to enhance international dimensions in its teaching, research, service, outreach and administration.
International engagement is a key academic strategy to improving the quality of teaching, learning, and research at UAlberta, in turn enhancing the university's overall reputation and further improving its worldwide standing.
Responsibility for the design and implementation of internationalization programs and projects lies primarily with UAlberta Faculties and Departments.
However, administrative units—especially University of Alberta International—play an important role in supporting and facilitating Faculty plans and initiatives.
