Students will travel to England (London, Bath, and Oxford) and Ireland (Dublin, Killarney, and Galway) while earning three UNI credit hours toward the capstone CAP 3102/TECH 3102: Living in our Techno-Social World course. The course will include a number of excursions and visits in different parts of England and Ireland to enhance the themes of the course such as industrial tour, science museum and exhibitions, national park, farms, and village site visits. It includes technology, transportation, politics, economy and the policy for each country. At the same time, the students will become familiar with the rich cultural, historical, environmental, and industrial sites of both countries.
Some of the highlights of the program are as following: Tower of London, London Eye, Windsor Castle, Oxford University, Roman Baths; Dublin; Book of Kells/Trinity College Campus tour; Old Kilmainham Jail, Blarney Castle, Ring of Kerry, Cliffs of Moher, Galway, and many more. This trip allows for twenty students, and spots are based on a first come first serve basis. If you are interested apply today!
