I learned of China's culture, which I think is beautiful. Guanxi is something I learned in this program and I've been incorporating it into my life. A student - University of Texas - El Paso / UTEP View Entire Review

I learned a tremendous amount about Chinese culture that you just never see in Texas. I'm so appreciative that I was able to experience Chinese life in both Beijing and Shanghai. I found nothing but friendly locals and interesting experiences at every corner. I'd visit again in a heartbeat. A student - University of Texas - El Paso / UTEP View Entire Review

I gained a greater appreciation for the country I live in but also a deeper understanding of another culture and government system. It was absolutely worthwhile, both personally and professionally. Gaining an understanding of different systems will not assist me as a business professional but as a human being. A student - University of Texas - El Paso / UTEP View Entire Review

Daily learning experiences received through the different visits where not only essential to provide an overview of different growing industries within China, but offered a valuable cultural background as well. The whole experience was worth it. Sonia D. Aguilar - University of Texas - El Paso / UTEP View Entire Review
This trip truly opened up my eyes to the possibility of living and working abroad. It was wonderful to see and experience so many things that many people just read about in books. I truly will never forget this trip as I learned so much about the culture and business environment of two very different Chines cities.
