I gained a worldview. This was my first time abroad, and I could not have imagined a better way to do it or a better place to go. Thailand is very different from the U.S, and it was scary yet extremely liberating to immerse myself into such a different culture. Personally, I think much of Thai culture is beautiful, and it was... Claudia D. - University of Central Florida View Entire Review

I learned to go with the flow, a lot about Thai culture and art that I wasn't exposed to in my previous learning experiences, and a ton of great new food to eat! It was 100% worthwhile for me to travel by myself and be exposed to a new place and people to mature and prepare myself for life after college. My study abroad experience was more than worthwhile! I gained a better insight into the global landscape and was able to spend time in a culture that is very different than my own. Through this, I believe that I am a more well rounded person and can tackle any issue that comes my way with a global perspective in mind. I gained a strong sense of self while abroad. I had to depend on myself to, in many senses of the word, navigate Chiang Mai and I'm better for it.
