I learned that most people are not different from myself, but learning how other people think has helped me further understand myself. I learned that studying is very important as is the positives that come along with time management. This experience has taught me so much and I really want to set aside accounts so that my nieces... Study Abroad was the best experience of my life. Like I said, I'm applying to do my Master's at UQ because I enjoyed the area that much. I am planning to study law there and live there for a few years after. Brisbane felt like home. Christina G - Colby-Sawyer College View Entire Review
Yes! I had the most wonderful experience meeting Australians as well as exploring the land down under! I am so much more aware of how big and diverse the world really is and how to respect and embrace those differences. My experience abroad has changed my life completely. I met my boyfriend here, who is Australian, so now I've m... Cecilia P - Ohio State University - Columbus View Entire Review
YES! I enhanced my personal character, have a wider range of opinions on the world, understand and appreciate different cultures, and learned to really live, work, and be independent. Tdk026 - University of Hartford View Entire Review
Yes. It was very worthwhile. I think its great to get away and meet new people (even if they are mostly Americans). I got to travel around and see Australia. The only downside on the whole experience is that I didn't get to meet that many Australians. Kyle J - Tufts University View Entire Review
My experience abroad has changed me in so many good ways. My cultural awareness is much greater and I have such an appreciation for cultures now it's unbelievable. I have the travel bug now and I just want to travel everywhere and see everything that I can. The people I met made my experience unforgettable. From my roommates, t... Traveling anywhere gives you a cultural experience, shows you how other people live, learn, and interact. Sometime you find something new you love and sometimes you just realize what you have at home. Either way you gain experience that cannot be taught in a book or a lecture. Being in a foreign country is an experience in itsel... Katie B - University of Pittsburgh - Pittsburgh View Entire Review

YES! I learned so much about not just Aussie culture, but culture from all the international students with me. It was beautiful, fun, and got so much from it in every way possible. I'm much more aware of the world's thoughts on America and our education system's lack of intrest in international studies. We are so behind in langu... About
Brisbane is known for its welcoming people. It’s the 3rd largest city in Australia but retains a laid-back small-town feel.
QUT’s business school was the first in Australia to achieve “triple crown” international accreditation (EQUIS, AACSB and AMBA).
Students have access to more than 220 Clubs and Society’s through the University of Queensland Union (UQU).
The 5-day Australia Orientation takes place in the northern city of Cairns, famous for its tropical atmosphere and access to the Great Barrier Reef.
It would take around 29 years to visit one new Aussie beach every day (there are 10,685 of them!)
