Located on the southern coast of Spain, Málaga is considered to be the gateway to the Costa del Sol, one of the most popular holiday destinations in the world. It boasts some of the best fish and seafood cafes in Europe (not to mention amazing weather year-round). Málaga is a bustling place that is full of life and has something to offer every study abroad student. WorldStrides has partnered with the University of Málaga to offer students a number of study abroad program options. These programs are focused on intensive Spanish language and cultural immersion, and are offered throughout the year. Housing options include a home-stay with a local Spanish family to maximize student's cultural experience. Statistics

WorldStrides Scholarships

WorldStrides will award one scholarship each year to a participating student for the full list price of the ISA program. The GO Full-Ride Scholarship can be used for an ISA program and covers the full program fee. In order to be considered for this scholarship, all applicants must apply and meet the eligibility requirements for one of the other ISA scholarships by the deadline. There will be one GO Full-Ride Scholarship awarded per year.

Deadlines:
Summer: February 28th Fall: April 30 Winter/Spring: October 30th

Guidelines/Requirements:
• Be accepted to a WorldStrides study abroad, internship, or community engagement program. • Have at least a 3.25 cumulative GPA. • Have completed at least one year of college level foreign language or the equivalent. Courses must appear on official transcript. • Be enrolled in second or third year of undergraduate education at a U.S. university/college at time of program participation. • Be on financial aid. FAFSA Student Aid Report (SAR) and home university Award Letter/form required. **Please refer to the ISA scholarship page for more information on guidelines/requirements.

We believe in expanding access and increasing opportunities for individuals from various backgrounds to become global learners by reducing financial barriers. This scholarship is intended for summer and semester students looking to create an impact on the world around them, bringing their own personal perspectives to an international experience.

2 x $1,000 for Summer Programs; 3 x $2,000 for Fall Programs; 3 x $2,000 for Winter/Spring Programs
