A student Middlebury College
"I learned a lot about living independently and living every day fully in order to take advantage of such an amazing city!! From my classes I learned so much about Dutch culture and their interesting policies- it really helped me think critically about American policies and culture. I also loved taking a new language while I was ..."
A student Middlebury College
"Personal growth, friendships from around the world, cultural experience, everything. You can't put enough words to describe this experience. It was definitely worthwhile. I wish Bentley made an effort to promote these non-traditional programs to the student body because it really is more rewarding than I ever thought it would be..."

"Incredibly worthwhile!!! I became so much more independent after studying abroad, and met so many interesting people. At first I was quite shy, but it got better after meeting some people! The classes were the least part of my experience, peehaps unsurprisingly."
Rosanne Brandeis University

"I learned more of the language and a lot about myself as a person. I would do it over in a heartbeat. "
A student Bentley University
"I gained a new language (still not fluent, but it has improved significantly) as well as an open mind to a new culture. In addition, I met very close friends from across the United States and I still stay in touch with Spaniards that I met in Spain. It was worth the experience and I recommend to anyone!"
Isaac P Bentley University
"I gained a new outlook on my own culture while at the same time adopting some thing from a new one. I have learned to appreciate certain things and miss others that I have just discovered. If I could go back right now, I would. "
Alycia W Berea College
"It sounds really cheesy and cliche, but I really feel that I found myself while abroad. I remember hearing and reading this phrase a lot before I left, and thinking that it was just another one of those things that everyone said because it sounded good. However, I know what they mean now. There is no real concrete way of explain..."
A student Barnard College
"I learned different perspectives and values by living with a Spanish family"
A student Bentley University
"French language skills"
Katherine M University of Pittsburgh - Pittsburgh
"Absolutely worthwhile; I felt like I learned more than I have ever learned in my life each day, from strangers, family, American friends, and teachers. I learned to accept what I can't change, and to work with what I can. Open minds are key and judgement is not worth it."
