Study Abroad with ISEP Exchange
"I have already made several trips to Germany, and have hosted a German exchange student for a year before I made the choice to study abroad here, so I wouldn't say that my perception has really changed, just been clarified. My academic interests have not really changed, my choice to not study classical archaeology has just been ..."
Laura S Western Washington University
"My study abroad experience was definitely worthwhile. I gained a strong sense of independence and heightened my interest in travel and other cultures even further. I had always planned to work abroad at some point, so my experience didn't change my plans so much as it did enable me to accomplish them. "
Jessica S Western Carolina University
"If you can't tell already, I'm bitter about not learning French the way I was expecting. That was my goal in coming to a French speaking country, and I've failed. I have certainly made a lot of progress, but France or Belgium would have been better choices for French. I am also not happy that I wasn't told that I didn't have to ..."
Adam S Kansas State University
"The study abroad experience was amazing and I will always be thankful that I did it. Tilburg had a great program for international students. The only part about Tilburg that I had problems with the university not the opportunities or social experiences."
Scotiana C Western Washington University

"My experience was absolutely worthwhile. The trip definitely changed me and helped me evolve into someone more motivated, more courageous, and more sympathetic. I now understand what it's like to be somewhere all alone and where one cannot understand the language and I will definitely carry that with me when I meet someone in th..."

"I learned a lot about myself and about different cultures from this program. There are many differences between American culture and Indian culture that I never really even thought could exist. For example, I saw that men in India seemed to form much closer and more intimate relationships with each other than America men. I get ..."

"It was definitely worth it. The amount of diversity among the students and the population of the city was something I had never experienced to that extent before, and it was amazing to learn so much about other cultures. It made me even more certain that I want to work in a job where I can work with people from different cultur..."

"Yes, the study abroad experience was more than worthwhile. I feel that I have grown up to be more independent and culturally aware. I learned more about Japan and myself as well.
