Northwest Arkansas Community College is a program provider offering 2 abroad programs. Programs offered include Study Abroad abroad programs in 2 countries such as Greece and Italy.
NorthWest Arkansas Community College was founded in 1989 and is a comprehensive, public two-year college that serves and strengthens the community through learning for living. NWACC's service area is defined by the Arkansas Department of Higher Education as Benton and Washington counties in extreme northwest Arkansas. The commitment of NWACC to life-long learning can be seen in the quality of instruction it offers, and the variety of programs it has designed to move students into the job market in a minimum amount of time, enrich people's lives, and prepare them to further their education.
The Study Abroad Program at NWACC was founded in 2012. We currently have 6 Study Abroad trips which range from 8 to 30 days depending on the selection. Current locations include: Haiti; Ireland; Greece; Thailand; Siena, Italy; and Tuscany, Italy. Interested applicants may contact the Study Abroad office directly. NWACC students can also attend programs from other providers, and they are encouraged to explore reviews and pre-approved program lists to find the best fit for their academic and personal goals.
Through study abroad, NWACC students gain global awareness, cross-cultural experiences, and new perspectives that enrich their academic journey and prepare them for an increasingly interconnected world.
