Saint Louis University was founded in 1818 on the Jesuit tradition of “educating the whole person.” Today the university is considered one of the top 100 research institutions in the United States. Its Madrid Campus opened in 1967 and has been awarding university degrees since 2005. The Madrid Campus offers financial aid to more than half of its students.
