Study Abroad Programs: Latin American and Caribbean Studies

Latin American and Caribbean Studies is an interdisciplinary program that provides students with a deep understanding of the history, culture, politics, and economy of Latin America and the Caribbean. The program incorporates a range of subjects, including anthropology, history, literature, and political science, among others. Students gain proficiency in a foreign language and have the opportunity to study abroad in countries such as Mexico, Brazil, and Cuba.

The program is designed to equip students with a nuanced understanding of the region, with a particular focus on issues such as colonialism, race and ethnicity, and social justice.
