"I learned so much about myself and gained so much independence with traveling. I was able to become friends with people from all over my own country and from all over this world and I also really learned how truly small the globe is. I already have already had the travel bug my whole life and this experience only made me want to..."

"My experience was definitely worthwhile. There were some times that were definitely challenging, but they all helped give me more confidence and independence as well as adding to the amazing experience. I am definitely more culturally aware of the people around me, but my future plans have not really changed. "

"I learned I can be put in any situation and live with it. Its a lot about being content, not always looking ahead to the future. I also learned I am very sensitive to black mold. It made me realize I can be content in a different lifestyle in which I sit and drink tea with friends and just relax. I still want to go back to Egypt..."

"Yes. Living in London was awesome. More importantly I spent a month backpacking europe which was amazing and would have been impossible if I stayed at home. The three stars doesn't include the backpacking its a combo of two star program(only because of the internship) and four for living in London."

"I miss it all incredibly. The best friend I made there is still my closet friend. Everything was different, new, wonderful. Life was open. I was free. It was like looking in a mirror for the first time, stripped away of all the pressures and complications of my old life. Learning was chatting up a stranger in a bar. You learned ..."

"It changed me as a person. It's hard to look back now, being so far removed from Karlsruhe and semi-integrated into Presbyterian community; but when I do think of the streets I walked, the people I met, the things I saw, I can't replace that feeling. I left unsure about life, who I was, what I cared about. Being there was like l..."
