"I really enjoyed learning Finance with an international perspective. I also learned a lot by experiencing how a french University operates. I now can see myself traveling to Paris for work possibly. "
Nicole R The University of Texas at Austin
"So many! Living in Germany was an incredible opportunity to learn about sustainability in practice, as well as enjoying the beauty and function of a dense, thriving urban area. "
Elizabeth B The University of Texas at Austin
"I gained an appreciation of the quality of life and low cost of living in Texas. I decided last minute to study abroad and got into the Paris program when someone dropped out, so it was not my first choice of program for that semester. If I could redo it I would go Asia where things are cheaper and the weather is warmer."

"Best decision I've ever made. I had a great time, met so many different people and explored many new places. The coursework was interesting and challenging, but the sheer amount of work to be done was actually far less than what we experience at UT. The courses did broaden my knowledge of finance and were worth taking. Travellin..."

"Best thing I've every done!!! "
Kristin P The University of Texas at Austin
"It was interesting to see what another culture values. Food and leisure time are a huge deal in France, and it really made me take a good hard look at myself and what I think is important. "
Stacy C The University of Texas at Austin
"Studying abroad in Rome was an experience I will never forget. The people I met in Rome will always have a place in my heart. Living in Italy has made me realize that material things aren't as important as they seem. I think I learned to appreciate the more simple things in life. Italians thrive when it comes to relationships an..."

"Now I definitely want to study abroad again, if I get the chance. It changed my perception of Eastern Europe for the better. I'm so glad I did it. I had the greatest time and I'm sure that view is unaminous within our group."
Devin W The University of Texas at Austin
"Yes I would say this was worthwhile. Getting to further my German has helped me tremendously. I want to move back now so it has left me wanting more. The studies are good and help get you interacting with the city. It is a worldly city and you get to understand European and World views better. "
Quinn W The University of Texas at Austin
"I gained first-hand insight into the Mexican culture, which I have studied and always admired. I will be studying in South America next summer, and this experience has taught me that I need to have a longer study abroad experience next time. It was difficult to come back to America and re-adjust after such a short period of time..."
Courtney L The University of Texas at Austin
"It was very worthwhile."
Ryan W The University of Texas at Austin
"I am such a better person because I did this. I went to Valencia to learn Spanish, but I accomplished much more than this. I gained the best friends I've ever had and got to travel to France, Italy, Morocco, and all around Spain. I had the time of my life. "
Charlotte M The University of Texas at Austin
"It was incredibly worthwhile. I spent an entire month simply listening and observing. Do that anywhere and you will learn a lot. Go to a foreign country with great traditions of choral music, a place with so much to say, and you will learn more than you could ever imagine you could. "
Laura M The University of Texas at Austin
"My study abroad experience was very worthwhile. My language skills improved a lot, and I had the opportunity to assimilate into a culture different from my own. I learned a lot about myself, matured greatly, and had a lot of fun. Studying abroad in Japan let me not only improve my academic skills, but also taught me how to live ..."

"It was an amazing experience, and for sure worthwhile. It made me understand how the europeans have a whole other conception of how the world should be. It also helped me narrow my choices for graduate school. "

"It was special to expand my horizons in such a faraway place and making lasting friendships with people my age that live across the ocean. It was a 10/10 experience"
Daniel F The University of Texas at Austin
"I now have a much better feel for what sustainability could mean for the rest of the world. Germany has been a great case study in general for my architectural career. "
Kathryn C The University of Texas at Austin
"It was definitely worthwhile, and one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I realized how just the small things in life affect you in ways you don't even know until they are completely changed on you. I think everyone should study abroad. It really puts our way of life in the U.S. into perspective. I've always thought..."
Rebecca W The University of Texas at Austin

"Absolutely worth it! I grew as a person and learned a lot about myself and my values. Italy was a beautiful country that taught me to worry less about the small, trivial things in life.
