Past Review Year Abroad At Saint Andrews University of St. Andrews: St. Andrews - Direct Enrollment & Exchange

"It was definitely worthwhile. I learned a lot about myself and made great friends. It showed me though how much I appreciate Wellesley's academics, and even certain parts of its small community. Being at a bigger school was great, but the academics fell short. "

Past Review Study Abroad In East Jerusalem Hebrew University of Jerusalem - Rothberg International School: Undergraduate Study Abroad Program

"Definitely studying abroad is better than spending a semester at your home institution. It's a very introspective time, you learn a lot about yourself, and appreciate different things back home. I met dozens of amazing people, each from different backgrounds offering different stories. "

Past Review (No Title) University College London (UCL): London - Direct Enrollment & Exchange

"Going into the experience, I knew that academics were important but really I found that the overall experience was the most valuable. I learned a lot from my classes but I learned more from learning about another culture, meeting people, traveling, being away from home, etc. "

Wellesley College
Past Review (No Title) SIT Study Abroad: Australia - Sustainability and Environmental Action

"The academic content covered in the program was not quite what I was expecting or hoping for but what I learned from our outings and from talking to people made the trip worthwhile. "

Wellesley College
Past Review Wellesley In Vienna University of Vienna: Vienna - Direct Enrollment & Exchange

"I got to travel more than I expected and I have a fabulous internship, but honestly I feel like it was a waste of time. The quality of education here is no where near what it is at Wellesley and the fact that the program goes into June is ridiculous and cuts out a fair portion of summer internship opportunities. "

Wellesley College
Past Review (No Title) University of Edinburgh: Edinburgh - Direct Enrollment & Exchange

"Definitely worthwhile! I had to motivate myself to stay on top of the readings each week, but still learned a lot in classes they are not offered at Wellesley. I enjoyed being able to travel around Europe so easily. "

Wellesley College
Past Review (No Title) IFSA: Melbourne - University of Melbourne

"My ranking is low just again because of International House. However Australia was great. It is so pretty and the traveling is so much fun."

Wellesley College
Past Review (No Title) CIEE: Madrid - Liberal Arts

"I wish I had chosen a culture that is more different from my own. Living in Spain was too comfortable and too easy for me, not enough of a challenge. It was a nice break from Wellesley, but not much of a challenge."

Wellesley College
Past Review (No Title) The Beijing Center: Semester and Full Year Abroad

"I really think my Chinese language improved and I got to see some incredible places in China. Therefore I achieved my goals that I set when I chose this program. Therefore I am very satisfied with my choice."

Wellesley College
Past Review (No Title) SIT Study Abroad: Belgrade, Budapest, and Vienna - Comparative European Perspectives on Conflict and Democracy

"It definitely was... the most important thing for me on this trip was the gaining on self-confidence. Wellesley is a tough school: all the women are extremely smart and talented, and sometimes I feel like I am in an intellectual bubble. This program definitely popped that bubble for me and helped me really push myself in the f..."

Past Review Exchange: Paris Sciences Po Sciences Po: Paris - Direct Enrollment & Exchange

"I learned about what kind of city makes me happy. What factors are important to me in terms of quality of life (eg. fresh farmer's market versus good shopping nearby). The importance of public transport. I also learned what kind of student I am on a "global" level. It was interesting to have the comparison with French studen..."
