"Go with the flow... don't allow mishaps to ruin the program."

"I loved living in London, also enjoyed meeting other international students."

"Ultimately, people can connect well, regardless of their cultural differences. In fact, differences make the relationship more dynamic and interesting."

"I learned to finally have fun and take it easy. The only reason why I would not do this program again is because I felt that I was not academically challenged, and although people say they don't go abroad for the education part of it, I think it was still important to me to have good classes. "

"I gained a lot of confidence and independence as well as learning Spanish. It was very difficult and challenging, but that is what made it worthwhile. "
Hadley C Wellesley College
"I learned a lot about a completely different culture, and how they relate to the US. "
Ale M Wellesley College
"Three months at CMRS and Oxford, and I learnt - although just a little - about being a scholar, as opposed to being a student. I learnt to be a critical and (relatively) good writer, and to be able to defend my own view any moment. I learnt to be a good friend. It was an exceptional experience. However, I would say that the ..."

"How to manage my time well. Open to exploring and interacting with students. It was well worthwhile. "
A student Wellesley College
"Had a lot of fun, learned about maritime culture/history/policy, ultimately had a pretty decent experience, honestly just wanted to get off campus."
A student Wellesley College
"Yes, by far one of the best experiences of my life."

"UCL is ideal location-wise for London - choose UCL if your goal is to explore London. The professors are hit or miss, as are the classes... I was bummed that my Political Science classes consisted of only Americans. Also, I took fantastic art history and history courses at UCL that involved field trips to London museums - these ..."

"It was SO worthwhile. While the academics were intense and intriguing, they were far surpassed by the leadership training and self awareness I gained by working with a crew on a ship. I learned how to be critical of my own actions in a close community setting, I learned how to command and be commanded by my peers, and how to b..."

"I gained practical theater/acting tools not offered at Wellesley that will help me in my future work."
Katherine S Wellesley College
"My Spanish skills improved tremendously and I saw/did so many new things. It was incredibly worthwhile"
A student Wellesley College
"It was definitely worthwhile since it was something different. I learned a lot about the world and other people while going abroad, though it wasn't the lifechanging experience it is for some people. I think I would have tried to be more cognizant of my spending habits and also travel more (a paradox, I know)."
A student Wellesley College
"I learned so much about the French culture and people. What Aix lacked in its academics it more than made up for in the quality of life and the joie de vivre of the people. It was definitely worthwhile."
A student Wellesley College
"I gained a new level of self-sufficiency living alone in a major city by myself. Studying at a conservatory helped me grow as a performer while the many adventures I enjoyed have left me changed as a person. Absolutely worthwhile!"
A student Wellesley College
"It was worthwhile. My language skills increased dramatically and I met a number of wonderful people/saw all the wonderful things London has to offer. All in all, I was highly pleased with my abroad experience and would certainly elect to do it all over again if I had the chance."
Anne H Wellesley College
"It made me a better happier person. You should travel a lot around the rest of Europe! "
Claire I M Wellesley College
"It was interesting to experience and learn about the unique Hong Kong culture. But I felt like I was wasting my time in classes because they were nothing compared to the college courses in the US"
A student Wellesley College
"Language skills, knowledge of French law and international relations, and the wonderful feeling of feeling like more than a tourist."
A student Wellesley College
"I learned to slow down and really enjoy life."
liana.goehring Wellesley College
"I gained a greater knowledge of Arabic, as well as a greater knowledge of the region and Jordanian culture. I am so glad I went, and I only regret not going out and exploring even more. "
A student Wellesley College
"I participated in an entirely different manner of academic study while at CMRS, which would be the same for any program which introduces American students to the Oxford or Cambridge tutorial style of learning, but I was able to do so while at the same time receiving all the support such a transition called for and then some. I s..."

"I would say that the world is a lot bigger than the Wellesley bubble. Although I knew that, it was an eye-opener when I actually went abroad and met different, amazing people. This gives you a chance to learn outside the classroom from people with different backgrounds, passions, and interests. You also learn a lot about yoursel..."
