Overall Experience
My cultural understanding of both France and my home country increased tremendously. It was interesting to observe all of the things happening in the U.S. from the eyes of a different culture, and I feel like I learned more about the U.S. by being away from it. I also retained an incredible relationship with my host family, and ... - University of Virginia View Entire Review

Studying abroad experience with IES was an opportunity for me to gain French language skill, be independent, and learn cultures. Indeed, this study abroad... - Saint Olaf College View Entire Review

I can speak French a heck of a lot better than I could before. I had incredible experiences exploring Paris and other cities when I traveled, but the program was a total waste because I feel as though I learned nothing and received few benefits. I would have been better off going to Paris on my own for 4 months than doing the ... - Tufts University View Entire Review
