Yes, I learned a lot of resilience and made friends within my program. - Middlebury College View Entire Review
One of my favorite parts of the program was the language immersion. My Spanish improved so much, and I am much more confident using the language now. I made some local friends and friends from around the US that I plan on keeping in touch with. - Kenyon College View Entire Review
Improved my language skills quite a bit but otherwise got little to nothing out of the experience academically. Probably worthwhile - Middlebury College View Entire Review
Study abroad was very worthwhile. I gained independence, adaptability, cultural awareness, appreciation for art from another perspective, significantly better casual language use. The Middlebury program with the language pledge was particularly important to me. - Kenyon College View Entire Review
Yes, very worthwhile. I learned a lot about myself and was able to practice independence and time management while living alone, traveling alone, and being pushed out of my comfort zone to meet people and make new friends in a foreign language. I gained a lot of confidence in my independence. - Middlebury College View Entire Review
I definitely improved my Spanish, and I think I grew as a person simply by being in a new place with new people. It was very worthwhile. - Middlebury College View Entire Review
I learned a lot about myself, what makes me happy, and what I’m seeking in life. Plus made new friends, gained fluency, and spent a lovely semester in a new place. - Middlebury College View Entire Review

I feel that I grew a lot as a person, while improving my Spanish. I am now more independent and resilient. I definitely developed more solid language skills as well as made friendships with many international students. You're introduced to so many interesting people from different backgrounds. - Middlebury College View Entire Review
Yes! I had so much fun exploring a new place and learning about a different culture. - Middlebury College View Entire Review
I gained language skills and independence from my experience abroad and got to see lots of amazing things. It was definitely worthwhile. - Middlebury College View Entire Review
My experience abroad was worthwhile because I had other friends in my program and in Europe and because I learned a great deal about myself and what I want for my future, but not because of the university i was studying at or the academic courses I was taking. - Middlebury College View Entire Review
My language improved vastly, so in that respect yes. - Middlebury College View Entire Review
