This experience and program were definitely worthwhile. I learned so much about a culture different than my own and grew into a more independent person. Additionally, this program was great because I met so many international students and made connections with people that I consider to be my best friends today. I was able to learn all about an entirely different culture. One of my Australian mates took me home to stay with his family for the weekend and they were able to show me a true Australian experience and show me their way of life. This trip was honestly one of the greatest of my life where I was able to get a first-hand look int... Brandon Brazao - University of New Hampshire View Entire Review

I learned how to be more independent and open-minded As a pre-med I was very regimented and this was a great experience to learn about things other than science and really immerse myself in something new. It was 110% the best part of my college experience. Katie Lagana - Quinnipiac University View Entire Review
I learned how much there is to explore outside of the US. I was in Australia for 4 months and traveled somewhere new every weekend and still felt like I could have seen more. It was truly a once in a lifetime experience and I wouldn't sacrifice it for anything! James Piechnik - Clemson University View Entire Review
Being half-way around the world really instills a sense of true independence, there’s no going home or having your mom around to help when you run into trouble. I learned to do things on my own which pushed me to enjoy doing things on my own as well. If nobody was around to head up to the beach or go to dinner, I found myself go... It's true when they say studying abroad will change you. Beforehand I could not imagine that I would be able to confidently travel alone to a foreign place. Being uncomfortable in a new place has taught me more than I could have ever imagined. Gaining confidence definitely made my trip worthwhile. Rachel - University of New Hampshire View Entire Review

I learned so much about myself as well as Australia as I was abroad. I was able to learn about local culture while meeting tons of new people! It was a great time to really just live life and enjoy all that Australia could provide! Going abroad was so worthwhile and I'm glad that I did not pass up the opportunity to do so! I gained independence more than anything else. And I learned how to communicate more effectively. Most my good friends and I on the trip rubbed off on each other and now I think I'm a better person because of them. Emelie Gosselin - University of Hartford View Entire Review

I learned the value of exploring on your own and taking risks to experience more of the world. Definitely worth it and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Abby Mathai - Furman University View Entire Review
I grew so much as a person while I was away. I was completely isolated from all family and friends in America and it really allowed me to find my way as an individual relying on solely myself. It was probably the best thing that could have happened to me at this stage of my life. Kaylea Lundin - University of Tampa View Entire Review
This was the most worthwhile college experience! I not only learned to be more independent, but I also learned a variety of life skills such as international communication, learning to travel (figuring out bus/train/plane) schedules, time management, prioritization, and much more! Studying abroad helped me to be more responsible. I had to learn budgeting and balancing travel with school work. I already knew that I had a passion for traveling before I studied abroad, but once I studied abroad it really just reminded me that traveling is my favorite thing to do.
