WorldStrides has partnered with Griffith University and Bond University to offer students a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to live and study abroad in Australia. Students can look forward to enjoying beautiful beaches, learning to surf, sunny weather, plenty of fresh seafood and authentic Australian hospitality. Participants also enjoy a wide array of courses (both universities offer comprehensive academic programs with Business Schools that are AACSB accredited) and amazing housing options, like premier housing right on the beach.

The Gold Coast is known for its stunning coastline and crystal-clear waters stretching for over 50km.

Located just a 15-minute bus ride from Gold Coast beaches in the suburb of Robina, Bond University is surrounded by cafes, restaurants and other local services.

Griffith University is one of Australia’s leading comprehensive research universities.

The 5-day Australia Orientation takes place in the northern city of Cairns, famous for its tropical atmosphere and access to the Great Barrier Reef.

Australia is home to the world's most interesting and unique animals – with over one million different native species.

Statistics

WorldStrides Scholarships

WorldStrides will award one scholarship each year to a participating student for the full list price of the ISA program. The GO Full-Ride Scholarship can be used for an ISA program and covers the full program fee. In order to be considered for this scholarship, all applicants must apply and meet the eligibility requirements for one of the other ISA scholarships by the deadline. There will be one GO Full-Ride Scholarship awarded per year.

Deadlines:
Summer: February 28th Fall: April 30 Winter/Spring: October 30th

Guidelines/Requirements:
• Be accepted to a WorldStrides study abroad, internship, or community engagement program. • Have at least a 3.25 cumulative GPA. • Have completed at least one year of college level foreign language or the equivalent. Courses must appear on official transcript. • Be enrolled in second or third year of undergraduate education at a U.S. university/college at time of program participation. • Be on financial aid. FAFSA Student Aid Report (SAR) and home university Award Letter/form required. **Please refer to the ISA scholarship page for more information on guidelines/requirements.

We believe in expanding access and increasing opportunities for individuals from various backgrounds to become global learners by reducing financial barriers. This scholarship is intended for summer and semester students looking to create an impact on the world around them, bringing their own personal perspectives to an international experience.

2 x $1,000 for Summer Programs; 3 x $2,000 for Fall Programs; 3 x $2,000 for Winter/Spring Programs
