Overall Experience
Studying abroad with TEAN has given me an experience that nothing can compare to. I spent a week in Fiji, a place where I would not have had the opportunity to travel to had I not participated in TEAN, and then lived in Australia for four months playing on the beach and eating wedges with sour cream and sweet chili sauce. Nothin... - University of Michigan - Ann Arbor View Entire Review

I learned how to live on my own and enjoy life way outside of your comfort zone. It was 100% worthwhile, I would not change a thing about my experience and would definitely go again. - University of Rhode Island View Entire Review
What did I gain from studying abroad? Everything. A global and humbling perspective, lifelong memories and friendships, the courage and confidence to truly do anything I set my mind to (cheesy, but it's the truth), and a really, really strong case of wanderlust :) So, of course it was worthwhile. I would go back this very day I ... - Quinnipiac University View Entire Review

I matured a lot during my semester abroad because you learn how to survive on your own. You don't have your parents or friends back home to help you if you need help. Made me want to travel the world even more because it was such a great experience. - Nichols College View Entire Review
There's so much to learn about yourself and the world living in another country. My program directors went out of their way to ... - University of Tampa View Entire Review
I gained many new friends, challenged myself in academic and social aspects, and traveled to places I've always dreamed of! My communication skills have gotten extremely better since I went abroad. I went there knowing one student and can say I have met and interacted with 100s of new people. I have learned to keep an open mind to things that are different. I have done things I never thought were possible and have conquered many of my fears. - Nichols College View Entire Review

My time abroad was invaluable. I made some of the greatest friends I've ever had, seen things and gone places I'd never imagined experiencing, and learned a tremendous deal about myself.
