Overall Experience
I learned more about French culture, and the importance of a country’s history. I had the chance to practice my French and to meet different kinds of people and nationalities. It was definitely worth while! - Cottey College View Entire Review
I was able to see parts of the world that I thought I would only ever be able to see in movies. I discovered that I have a true love of traveling and exploring. It was one of the best decision I've ever made. - University of Tulsa View Entire Review
Past Review Fabulous
I take a art history class, teacher always take us go to different museum to talk and watch some famous things, it is fabulous. - University of Tulsa View Entire Review
I learned a lot from my experience. Yes I learned a lot of educational things (since I was in school) but I learned a lot about myself, I became this adventurer I never knew I was. I picked up a love for culture I never knew I had. I learned that things aren't weird, they are just different. - California Lutheran University View Entire Review
Immersion is probably the best way to learn a language. A lot of the times switching back to English was not an option. This forces you to speak the language frequently and to the effort to understand. My linguistics skills have improved significantly and it was an incredible experience. - Ramapo College View Entire Review
Yes, I learned school material, about other cultures about myself, gained independence - University of Arkansas - Fayetteville View Entire Review
Past Review Paris Je T'aime!
This is the kind of experience that you only get once, I loved every day that I was in Paris and it was definitely worth while! - Western Washington University View Entire Review
Past Review Phenomenal
Absolutely worthwhile. You just become more open to life's experiences and you learn a lot about yourself along the way (no matter how much you've traveled before!) I wish more people from the states would travel abroad. The rest of the world is so massive and so alive and I think a lot of times people forget what is outside the... - Western Washington University View Entire Review

It was the first time I had nothing going on, I wish I would've volunteered somewhere to feel productive. I learned the importance of really emerging in the culture with the people and the language. - Pace University View Entire Review
The joy of doing nothing, which is hard to learn in the USA's pressure-cooker environment. Yes. - The College of William and Mary View Entire Review
Study abroad is a great experience! The amount of knowledge you gain from traveling, meeting new people, and, learning about yourself is incredible! My only advice is: Travel and Study as much as you can! - Towson University View Entire Review
I am now the Study Abroad Peer Advisor and Edgewood College and plan to teach abroad after I graduate because of my amazing experience. - Edgewood College View Entire Review
My experience was absolutely worthwhile. I was nervous to go abroad, especially for an entire semester, but the experience taught me about myself and my life style. Living in another culture really teaches you about yourself and how you relate to the world. It opens your mind to a new way of life and living that will change you ... View Entire Review
I gained knowledge on local culture and the historical art and architecture of Paris. Yes, I'd say it was worthwhile. - University of Tulsa View Entire Review

Past Review J'adore Paris
I absolutely loved my experience with isa! It was the most life-changing experience I’ve ever had and I wouldn’t trade my experience for the world: the good, the bad, and the ugly. From day 1 of applying to isa, the Austin staff was extremely helpful and supportive of making sure I got all the right paperwork done and my visa wa... - California Baptist University View Entire Review

Besides the obvious - improving my French, being independent - I learned a lot about myself in my time abroad. I didn't think I would feel drastically changed in an academic year abroad, but I do. Going to Paris for a year was the most challenging, best decision I ever made and I strongly encourage anyone to study in another cou... - Western Washington University View Entire Review
You can learn so much about yourself on these types of trips. Enjoy being by yourself- enjoy being lonely. Write in a journal... you will appreciate rereading your daily goings-on once you are back home. This trip was more than worthwhile- it was amazing. - University of Texas - San Antonio View Entire Review
Past Review Good
Living on my own and budgeting my lifestyle - Saint Anselm College View Entire Review
I learned that I can put up with alot more crap than I thought I could. Studying abroad isn't as glamorous as many people expect it to be, and daily life (going to classes, hanging out with friends, drama) is very similar to life back home. It was worthwhile though. - Austin College View Entire Review
Yes it was the most amazing time I have ever had. - Ohio State University - Columbus View Entire Review
