The summer program was not long enough. If I were to do this again I would go for the semester abroad or year abroad program. But definitely go for it-- the experience is well worth the price. Charlotte N - University of Alaska - Anchorage View Entire Review
I learned how to make decisions for myself, street smarts (I'm a country girl) and how to self motivate. How did it impact my future plans? As soon as I got home I applied for a work visa to return and live in France. Michelet G - Rowan University View Entire Review

Life is an adventure and I learn things along the way from every experience. This experience was definately something that I will tell stories from for the rest of my life! Dane J - Ohio State University - Columbus View Entire Review
Well, to be honest: I didn't enjoy Paris very much at all. I love taking the classes and meeting new people, but I found it very difficult to make friends with Parisians. The food was delicious at first, but the richness got to me after a while, and it's just a very expensive city. Okay... so, what did I like about it? St... I would certainly do it again if I could. It is interesting to see how European perspectives differ. Kyle N - University of Denver View Entire Review
It was worthwhile in that I gained a better understanding of the difficulties of living as an expatriate, and of the Megan B - Ohio State University - Columbus View Entire Review

Yes, though mostly because of a family friend who lives in Paris, and not because of the program itself. Rachel R - The College of New Jersey View Entire Review
Absolutely, as anyone that ever studies abroad would answer. I loved Paris before visiting it and I am so happy I did. I met great people that I still keep in touch with and it confirmed my interest in the French language. Being exposed to a different culture is rewarding in many ways because you grow from that. ABSOLUTELY! I want to use ISA in every country! Mindy S - Kansas State University View Entire Review
Studying abroad has opened my eyes to how globalized our world is. I want to maintain a kind of global citizenship in which I am aware of what is happening around the world. I also hope to move to Europe (if I can get a job there) because I want to experience all types of life as possible! Sarah T - University of California - Irvine View Entire Review
My study abroad experience in Paris, France definitely changed my life for the better. My French improved significantly and I learned so much about the French culture and people that is not possible in a classroom. It was challenging being a foreigner in another country, but that experience was humbling and taught me a lot abo... Colleen T - Regis University View Entire Review
Really learning the language was the best part for me...and now I can say that I lived in Paris! Sacha N - Bethel University & Seminary View Entire Review

My study abroad experience was absolutely worthwhile! I had never been out of the United States prior to this summer, and all I want to do now is go back! Being surrounded by a new language, eating food that was different from and at different times of the day than I was used to, living with a local family and feeling welcomed a... Yes. I learned a lot of vocabulary and things about the language. I also saw some amazing places. I am going to be a French teacher and this will definitely help in knowing more about France as a whole. Kaitlyn C - Siena College View Entire Review
shortly after I arrived in Paris I was thinking to myself "what in the world am I doing here?" I went with no one I knew and knew no one when I got there. It didn't take long though to see exactly why I was there. I met so many different people from around the world and from various backgrounds and cultures. I got to experience ... The experience was a life changing experience. ISA was a fantastic program. They were very helpful and were there as much or as little as you needed them to be. American Business school had inadequate facilities, and some inadequate professors. However, it was very international which served to be a great learning experience. Created an addiction for traveling. 6 months later I graduated and went on a 10 week backpacking trip to 8 countries in Southeast Asia. I was so comfortable traveling out of a backpack after my 4 months in Europe. Now that I work full time, I went on the longest vacation possible, 2 weeks to Peru a few months ago. I am determine... I learned how to be more independent and more compassionate toward people that I only knew for a brief period of time. Uko N - University of Cincinnati View Entire Review
I was afraid I would find an overrated city when I went to Paris, but it far exceeded my expectations. The city is simply incredible! You can gain free entry to almost all of the museums with your student ID and there are so many other things to do. It has something for everyone! I miss Paris a lot and hope I can return soon. The French quality of life is all about their history which is beautiful and extremely dramatic. However it is so fun to interact, shop, eat, appreciate life the way they do. Shelby C - University of Tennessee - Knoxville View Entire Review
My experience instilled a love for traveling and a sort of fearlessness to just venture out and explore other countries despite knowing very little about the language and/or geography. While I research extensively now, I also know that I will enjoy a city/country if all I had was a tourist map to get me around. And I met quite a...
