Living in Paris gave me an entirely new perspective on the world. One can read about other places, but actually living them gives new meaning to their different ways of doing things. For example, health care doesn't have to cost a fortune. Neither does school. Samantha S - University of California - Berkeley View Entire Review
I learned so much about myself and others. It was such a rewarding experience that I wouldn't trade for anything. Shainna P - University of Tennessee - Knoxville View Entire Review
I learned more about French culture, art history, and navigating a country where I was not familiar with the language. i also made amazing friends. Erik M - The College of New Jersey View Entire Review
The only reason why I wouldn't choose the same programme is because they were very pricey, and I found out from other international students how to live in France and attend the same school/go on the same cultural excursions and travel abroad for half of the price. However, it was a good experience. Simone S - University of Wisconsin - Whitewater View Entire Review
I loved being in Paris for about 4 months. I love Parisian food and culture. I also love French. Trisha M - Austin College View Entire Review

My study abroad experience was extremely worthwhile. I wouldn't trade it for anything. I learned so much about myself as a person and how I react to other people who are not anything like me (Americans and foreigners alike). I learned how to deal with difficult situations on my own where I'm outside my comfort zone (being shy sp... Brittany S - University of Arkansas - Fayetteville View Entire Review
Studying abroad was one of the most rewarding experiences I've had in my life. I never thought it would be so incredible and that I would fall so in love with a country. I would not have traded my experience for anything, and can't wait to return to Paris. Amanda G - The College of William and Mary View Entire Review
It has been incredible! It has given me a lot of self-confidence, and has shown me that I am very self-reliant. It has given me a different perspective of myself and my country, as well as people from other countries. I've learned to travel, get lost, and explore. If I had not studied abroad, I would not be as effective an educator as I am now. I teach French and regularly share the knowledge and cultural experiences that I gained during my study abroad. I highly recommend ISA to all of my students now because of their amazing staff and organization of the entire experience. I've studied ... Emily B - University of Oklahoma View Entire Review
Helped me see culture from an inside view, instead of outside. I hope to work for the U.N. one day, and I am not studying Spanish. Missy S - Kent State University View Entire Review
Studying abroad definitely helped improve my language abilities to a level that I now feel comfortable interacting with francophones in daily life. It also helped confirm my passion for European History which I am continuing to pursue two years after my time abroad. Erik M - Regis University View Entire Review
My french improved so much while I was there. It went from good to fluent. I really hope that one day I live and work there again. Roseanna M - Ohio State University - Columbus View Entire Review
This experience was worth every penny, it put me out of my comfort zone and made me actually think about things and look at another culture and way of life that was foreign to me. It taught me to become more dependent on my own knowledge and instincts rather than relying on others and i gained confidence in my own language skill... lindsay l - University of Arkansas - Fayetteville View Entire Review
My study abroad experience was definitely worthwhile. I have fallen in love with the French culture and they have so much passion for love and life. They enjoy spending time with family and relaxing under the sun in the parks. As Americans, we live fast paced lives and it seemed that in Paris, their lives are fast during work ho... I learned so much from my study abroad experience. I learned about France - the culture, language, people, customs, daily life, history. I learned about myself - my strengths, weaknesses. I became more confident in my French speaking abilities and in my independence and my ability to adapt. I also learned from the French's v...
