My experience with TEAN were unbelievable. Right out of the starting gate they fully immerse you within the culture so that you are not taken back when you are left on your own. I met a lot of other students on different programs that seemed to be getting suffocated by their programs. TEAN allowed me to actually experience New Z... - College of Charleston View Entire Review
YES! I learned a lot about a culture that most Americans know nothing about. New Zealand is a small, but friendly and absolutely breathtaking country. I would return in a heartbeat to "Aotearoa," if only for a few months to say "Kia ora" (traditional Maori greeting) to all of my friends. - Illinois State University View Entire Review

Yes, it definitely was worthwhile. Personally, I grew a lot, and I was able to get out of the experience what I wanted to. I have definitely become more adventurous and interested in planning trips and seeing the world. The experience has also made me a thrifty person. This is going to sound terrible, but I'm not sure I really gained much from this experience besides some awesome friends and five fabulous months.
