"It's incredible how ethnocentric you really are; you don't even realize it until you go somewhere else. I've learned a lot about Czech culture, and in doing so, I've learned a lot about my own culture. Going abroad has also been a personal growing experience. It sounds cheesy, but it really makes you learn about yourself as a pe..."

"The experience was an eye opener for so many aspects of my life. I ended up questioning a lot of the things I saw and also a lot of things that I did. Moving outside of the American bubble into a country that is unlike it in so many ways is like an out of body experience. "
A student Brandeis University
"Studying abroad is a real eye-opener. Learning to live by yourself in a country where English is not spoken a lot forces you to develop your Spanish speaking skills. On top of this, learning about the Spanish culture and being a worldly individual makes you more perceptive to learning about new cultures when you travel to other ..."
