CIEE is a program provider offering 395 abroad programs. Programs offered include Study Abroad, Internship, Intensive Language, and Online Program abroad programs in 32 countries such as Italy, Spain, Netherlands, and Botswana.
CIEE is a nonprofit study abroad and intercultural exchange organization that transforms lives and builds bridges between individuals and nations by sponsoring a wide variety of opportunities for the exchange of ideas and experiences. CIEE partners with overseas universities to provide direct matriculation options, creates CIEE courses to add to the offerings, and staffs each Study Center with CIEE-employed Resident Staff who provide co-curricular activities and around-the-clock student services. We offer quality academics with opportunities for cultural engagement such as excursions, homestays, volunteer opportunities, and internships to provide the highest quality study abroad experiences.

"YES! I learned to speak French confidently; I am nearly fluent now. I did not take French in college because I placed out of our requirement, and I felt that CIEE's program helped me to reconnect with this language and culture. I learned so much beyond the classroom as well. I now feel confident that I can get along with any..."

"It was worthwhile because I learned so much about the world, and it opened my eyes to the issues that face every country, and every city all over the world. Paris is not exempt from cultural tension and racism, and this dichotomy between the immigrants and the Parisians can be overwhelming. I certainly learned a lot, and, in fac..."

"This program changed my life. it sounds cliche, but I am not the same girl who initially boarded the plane to Japan. It brought new life to my textbooks and language lessons, and made me far more confident in my language skills. It was worth every penny, every stress-filed night, and every road-bump along the way. "This was the greatest experience of my life. I learned so much about their culture as was welcomed into their own culture with open arms. This hospitality has shown me a lot about life and has given me new perspective on how to live my own. Going abroad also makes the world less intimidating and gives me a brighter out look on ..."

"I am much more culturally sensitive. And I now hate airplanes. BUT I'm glad I did it and I'm very happy with CIEE. I wish I had a better time with advising for abroad. I'm glad I choose CIEE but I feel like my abroad advisor gave me ZERO support while I was here and before I came here. The class I took was PERFECT, but my univer..."

"I learned a lot about myself. I was challenged in every way possible and found myself in situations that required me to make smart choices. Don't trust everyone and don't get comfortable with the city life, by that I mean be street smart."

"I am thrilled to have see the country and learned about the social aspect of it's people. I feel MUCH more understanding of life in general. I wish I could teach people here what I have learned about gedogen, and about the easy going life the Dutch seem to have mastered (not that life isn't stressful for them, but they take thei..."
