"I gained a worldly perspective and now appreciate & am more concerned about many things more now than I did before. For example, I've realized how important caring for our earth is, and how big of a difference a single person can make. I've also become more humble, I think, which I saw from the majority of the people in New Zea..."

"Naturally, I learned so much about Ireland and, surprisingly, found a new appreciation for American culture. I made life-long American friends in the IES program as well as locals and international students at Trinity. Being thrown into a new city where I knew no one was a character-building experience. I have become much more c..."

"I wanted to determine whether or not I want to study in the UK for my postgraduate degree, and I also wanted to generally experience London life, and I was able to perceive that I would probably not enjoy studying under the British education system for postgraduate education, but that I would like to work in the UK at some point..."

"I became more independent and open to new experiences. I met a lot of great people who I wouldn't have met any other way. It was an incredibly worthwhile experienc..."

"My experience abroad was 100% worthwhile. There is no better way to learn about yourself and the world around you than to immerse yourself directly into a foreign country out of your comfort zone and without your family and close friends from home to be with you every step of the way.
