Study Abroad with PRESHCO
"yes, i got to work with a great ngo that led me to getting an internship here for the summer. "
Jacqueline M Wellesley College
"My experience was definitely worthwhile. I have greatly improved my Spanish skills, but more importantly I understand a lot more about Andalusian culture. I grew as a person, and found my way to find a niche in Cordoba. While PRESHCO did not help me much academically, it made me more aware of my ability to adapt in a new environ..."
Kristine B Wellesley College
"Yes! I learned how to relax and slow down."
Selenia C Wellesley College
"I learned the most from Spanish friends. The PRESCHO group hung out too much with themselves and not really branching out. The PRESCHO office in Cordoba was amazing--Eva, Encari, Maribel, Martha. I would like to go back to Cordoba sometime. I'm so glad there was the orientation trip, but I wished that was later in the program be..."

I think that it helped impact my cultural awareness, and helped broaden my already established interest in Europe's history and politics. This experience guaranteed th..."

"I learned a lot about myself while being abroad, through living with a host family, making new friends, and traveling. But I do not think that it necessarily impacted my future academic interests or plans. "
Mika E Wellesley College
"I learned a great amount about the Spanish and European culture. I loved living there for 4 months, but I definitely now have a bigger appreciation for the US and its culture/lifestyle in terms of work ethic and motivation."
Nirali S Wellesley College
"YES! I became more independent, more confident, more outgoing, able to have more fun... I am leading a less-stressful life now, thanks to my entire attitude change. "I would definitely say my study-abroad experience was worthwhile. I learned a lot about another culture and way of life. I made friends (both foreign and American) and got to see many things I never would have otherwise. Kristin L Wellesley College
"My Spanish improved significantly, I learned a lot about Spanish culture, I learned to be more independent, I didn't travel to many other countries but I had a blast travelling within Spain. It has made me even more fascinated with what I am learning and what I have learned within my Spanish major. "
Stephanie Q Wellesley College
"Without a doubt. I loved it and would cheerfully go back to Spain on the first opportunity."
Kate L Wellesley College
"Better spoken and written Spanish. Easier travel around Europe. Unlike in the US, I never stressed out about schoolwork, so I learned to balance work and play. "
Kemi Wellesley College
"Living in a foreign country has made me more self-sufficient and more outgoing. I think by making me realize that my time in a certain place was limited, it forced me to do things that I would've had reservations about doing. Additionally, it was my first time in that continent and I feel that from that experience, I see it as..."
Annie Z Wellesley College
"It was absolutely worthwhile, I'm very glad to have traded a year at wellesley for a year abroad. I learned that there is a whole big world outside my college life, and I gained a lot of confidence by living abroad and solving my own problems. I also got to travel through europe and northern africa a bunch. I think I have a bett..."

"Absolutely. I had the most fun year I've ever experienced while in Cordoba, while also greatly improving my Spanish, meeting some amazing Spanish/American/French/English/Belgian friends, learning a ton about Spanish and Cordobesian culture, and getting a chance to exercise a more out-going, daring side of myself rather than the ..."
