BYU International Study Programs (ISP) offers varied types of experiences abroad in an effort to meet the diverse needs and goals of students. We offer four main types of programs:
• Study Abroad: A group of students live together and are led by on-site BYU faculty.
• International Internship: This is an independent, work-oriented experience. (BYU students only.)
• Direct Enrollment (Student Exchange): A student enrolls at a contracted university overseas while paying only BYU tuition. (BYU students only.)
• Field School: This is a hands-on research-based cohort experience abroad.
