"I became much more comfortable with speaking Spanish and confident in my ability to live in another country. It was an incomparable opportunity to study Latin American Studies (my major) from a Latin American academic perspective, as well as try to integrate myself into a Latin American culture and experience it firsthand. I lov..."

"Although I gained internship experience while on the program, the experience in itself was not what I had expected it to be. "My experience was absolutely worthwhile. It was hard at times. I have been away from home a lot before, but none of my experiences were like this one. "People talk about how spending time abroad completely changes you and your perspective. For me, this was very untrue. Perhaps it is because I had the opportunity to live in multiple countries abroad growing up, but I am not sure. "I learned what it's like to be surrounded by another culture. I wasn't able to read many things (especially in the beginning) and had to navigate and figure things out with limited use of my phone. It was definitely worth while. I learned about lot about myself and how to adapt to a new culture and live on my own. "
A student Middlebury College
"Over the course of my time abroad, I learned so much that I didn't even expect to touch on. The biggest thing I gained was personal growth. I expected to only improve myself in terms of language skills and new friends, but I ended up learning so much about who I am as a person and who I want to be in the future. Being in Seoul w..."
