"Learned that I am a world traveler and meeting new people and exposure to new cultures and places is very important to me. Studying abroad was worthwhile. Being able to interact first-hand with a culture instead of reading about it is a phenomenal experience. "

"I met a lot of different types of people, and that has made me even more accepting. I also feel that I understand another culture after living with my host family. I will always be in contact with them, and feel that I have a second home in Spain. I would study abroad again if I could! I absolutely loved it. My speaking skills h..."

"Travel was the best part. I've heard that said a lot by others. Note that most people have a hard time the first two months. I didn't have a great time in Dublin and that's partially my fault...I didn't try as hard as I should've to make friends. But the education was bad, local students either don't care much or dislike you pre..."

"I think that the most important lesson I learned was the importance of being confident and unafraid to reach out even if you know you may make a mistake. For the most part, people are very willing to chat and help you out. "

"It was positively amazing.I learned that I am in control of my own happiness and that there is a whole world out there beside america. I dont have to necessarily live in America when I am older. "I saw SO many different places, which inspired so many amazing discussion s among my peers and great ideas within me. The program is challenging in its constant travel and it demands your ultimate flexibility. I slept and lugged my bags on buses, trains, floors, airplanes, cabins, up stairs, through sand, and back again. But tho..."

"Prague is a fantastic city, inexpensive and full of interesting places and people. I found that Prague was one of the places you had to work to feel comfortable. I really tried to find the places I liked best and it required some searching. It was very worthwhile."

"Yes it was worthwhile! While it was great having a program guide me through the integration and teach me what I learned in class, the most valuable experiences I had were outside the classroom, spending time immersed in the culture of my host country."

"I now have a very deep knowledge of the ancient history in and around Rome as well as making friends that will last me a lifetime. The entire group became very close both with each other and with the city in a way that would not be possible in any other program. I am so glad I went and was very sad to leave, but I know that th..."
