"Learned a lot about independence, becoming comfortable not knowing the language spoken around you. "
A student Middlebury College
"I learned to live entirely immersed within another culture, rather than merely floating around the periphery of such. The overall experience was extremely challenging but without that difficulty, I would never have come away with the sense of fulfillment and self-understanding which I now carry with me in my every-day life."
A student Middlebury College
"I was definitely worthwhile. I would not be able to spend that much time abroad, especially in a place as far as New Zealand, at another point in my life, so I was really grateful to be able to do that. "
