"I have an even greater want than before to travel more and experience different cultures for a longer period of time than simply a vacation. "
Emmy L Providence College
"I could not have asked for a better study abroad experience. The things I learned and the qualities that I gainded as an individual could not have possibly been acheived to this extent had I not gone abroad. Studying abroad allowed me to understand how precious time is. Instead of becoming stressed over trivial matters, I geared..."

"Yes, the study abroad program was definitely worth while. The only reason I said I would not do this same program was because I realized while there, I was not as interested in medicine as I had thought. If it was the same program, faculty, location, everything but with a different academic focus I would absolutely do it again..."

"It was entirely worthwhile. I learned a new language!"

"The study abroad experience is one of the most worthwhile experiences I have ever had. It forced me to step beyond my comfort zone. It forced me to accept that there are things that are beyond our control, but that is ok, you can still enjoy an experience that you do not plan every minute of, sometimes things happen when you hav..."

"Absolutely. I learned that I truly am capable of anything I set my mind to - I not only survived, but flourished living with a French family, taking a full course load in French...From a cultural perspective, I gained a better understanding of why French culture is what it is, and that 'different' does, in no way, mean 'worse.' ..."

"Most wonderful experience of my life. Fair warning, dealing with PC's abroad office is painful but worth the hassle. Don't be daunted by the inefficiency of the office, the overall experience is worth the stress."
Kathleen A Providence College
"My study abroad experience was more than worthwhile. I feel that if I hadn't gone abroad I would not have been half the person I am now. Like any student I've learned about other cultures through books and haven't been able to experience them firsthand. In Pietermaritzburg, I could go to class at noon, learn about rock art, a..."

"It was definitely worthwhile but I would have changed some things about my situation such as living and my program. "
Deirdre F Providence College
"From this experience I learned a great deal about not only academic related subjects but also about myself. I gained a great sense of independence that I did not have prior to studying abroad. I feel that my study abroad was the greatest experience I have ever had and I would highly suggest it to anyone."

"I loved every minute of my study abroad experience. There were times when I was homesick, but that happened to everyone. I have become more confident in myself and independent. I feel that I am able to do just about anything in any given situation. I am able to think on my feet better and just have more street smarts. I am able ..."

"It was extremely worthwhile. Not only do you learn about Europe and what is outside of American walls but you also learn about yourself. You are forced to adapt and it can be very rewarding. It allows you to see the world from a different perspective. "
Steven M Providence College
"Yes. I learned so much about Italian culture, as well as about myself. "
Sarah D Providence College
"My study abroad experience was so worthwhile! I had so many doubts and fears in the months prior to my departure to Spain, but I was soon put at ease when I met other students who were going through the same things that I was. I have made the most incredible friends that I hope to keep in touch with when I return to the United ..."

"I learned a lot about myself and who I am as a person. I had a lot of time to reflect and think about my future goals while I was here. Being here made me appreciate all the things I take for granted at home and in America in general. "
Lindsy M Providence College
"I loved Prague and I loved my program. I just feel that I would have chosen the much less expensive one and spent the money that I saved on traveling more. It has been an invaluable experience seeing so much of Europe, and it has solidified my belief that I want to live abroad when I graduate."
Danielle T Providence College

"I am beyond happy i chose to study abroad and particularly happy i chose to go to SA. I think i had one of the best experiences that is offered, and it is my hope that more people take this opportunity and that PC continues to offer this. It would be a mistake to take away the AIFS Stellenbosch experience because of what i have ..."
