"It made me more confident about my future. "

"After living in Buenos Aires I feel like I can do anything. I am much happier and much more confident. I want to see the world now, and I am completely confident that I can handle and adjust to anything."
Katie H The University of Texas at Austin
"It was extremely worthwhile!! I wouldn't trade the experience for anything. I had never been out of the United States and it really showed me how different the world really is. I loved seeing how relaxed and at ease the citizens of Denmark really are and it showed me why Danes are the happiest people in the world. I made some gr..."
Tayler K The University of Texas at Austin
"Absolutely worthwhile - I met the greatest people and traveled to beautiful places. We were independent and free to make our own choices at the spur of the moment, while still being responsible and managing for ourselves. I learned so much about the French culture and cannot wait to go back for a longer period of time. EVERYBODY..."
Virginia H The University of Texas at Austin
"I loved Granada & will move back soon"

Jennifer D The University of Texas at Austin
"I gained a wealth of knowledge about the world around me as well as a better understanding of myself."
Jenna P The University of Texas at Austin
"Yes, it was definitely worth while. I would never have done anything but an exchange program. I feel the others are just like going to UT but in a different country. To me, that would not have been the authentic experience I was looking for. It also gave me the chance to travel Europe cheaply and make good friends from all over-..."
Claire R The University of Texas at Austin
"While I would have liked a smaller, less international city with more local French culture and with less rude locals, nonetheless the experience alone of living abroad was a wonderful and eye-opening experience. I gained an awareness of different lifestyles and, most valuably, I was able to travel to other countries, which game ..."
jessica d The University of Texas at Austin
"This experience truly changed my perspective on the world, and therefore my life, as cliche as that sounds. I don't really know how to describe the manner in which it did so, or how I've changed in all the minute ways, because after hearing people talk about it but then experiencing it for myself, I really believe it is somethin..."
Kaley B The University of Texas at Austin
"yes had a great time "
Beverly B The University of Texas at Austin
"Paris is amazing. I made a ton of friends and experienced so many things that the US cannot offer. However Paris is really expensive and if money is an issue I might suggest going to Spain (about half the cost of living). DO NOT JUST HANG OUT WITH AMERICANS! YOU WILL LEARN NOTHING! "
Dylan M The University of Texas at Austin
"More than anything I fell in love with Portuguese, and now I am going to continue studying until I master it. I was sure I wanted to work in Latin America, but now I'm convinced that I specifically want to work in Brasil. Also, I learned a little bit about the importance of realaxing and simply enjoying the moment, as most Brazi..."
Michelle Q The University of Texas at Austin
"Americans are very money driven. In Spain they balance work and play much better. They live less extravagantly, but spend less time at work. My study Abroad experience was extremely worth while, and that's really an understatement. I loved seeing that their are other ways to live than the way we do at home. It's amazing how diff..."
Emily B The University of Texas at Austin
"My experience was worthwhile. It opened my eyes to life in other parts of the world. "
Sandy G The University of Texas at Austin
"My trip has changed my future plans. I had such a great experience that I want to go back and teach. "
anna c The University of Texas at Austin
"My study abroad experience changed my life in many ways. You can learn so much about yourself when you are placed in a foreign environment, especially as you observe your own reaction to the sudden change. In a situation where you are completely on your own without any familiar faces you are forced to express yourself to others ..."
Monica K The University of Texas at Austin
"going to prague made me want to travel more and see what else is out there."
dana g The University of Texas at Austin
"My study abroad experience was definitely worthwhile! I have a new view about the world and how other people live and interact with each other. Once I graduate I'm moving abroad. I can't wait to meet more people from around the world and learn about their culture. "
Brittany B The University of Texas at Austin
"Overall, loved it; wasn't always perfect but really improved my French and gave me experience living abroad. Always smart to try different lifestyle."
Mylinh T The University of Texas at Austin
"I'm so glad I went to Ecuador. It was breathtakingly beautiful, I learned a lot about other cultures and lifestyles, and I learned a lot of Spanish. This trip helped me to realize just how important it is to travel. Experiencing the exotic natural landscapes and novel cultural practices of Ecuador made me feel more alive. I w..."
George E The University of Texas at Austin
"I had an amazing time! I met so many cool people, saw cool things, and really started to feel like a local Perugian after only a few weeks of studying there. I would love to go back to Italy and live for a while after studying there because I enjoyed their lifestyle so much. "
Brooke L The University of Texas at Austin
"The study abroad experience was absolutely worthwhile. I enjoyed every minute of my trip. There was nothing I would change. Every single day was a unique unreplaceable experience. I truly had the best summer i've ever had. "
Jaclyn J The University of Texas at Austin
"I learned that we are all more alike than we are different and we can all learn things from each other."
Cody P The University of Texas at Austin
"I would like to return to France, but stay for a longer time. I am more confident in speaking French. I enjoyed the French lifestyle and would like to incorporate it into my own. "
