Being in Nottingham taught me to search for self-motivation, persistence, getting things done with little or no help from the university. Most importantly, I have established a social life outside of the university. I met fantastic people though my job and now I think I'm somewhat ready to leave Middlebury, knowing that I can ma... It was so worthwhile! I made friends that feel like family to me. It was nice living in dorms because I was really integrated into the culture, living with majority British students Camille K - Middlebury College View Entire Review
definitely worthwhile realized life outside middlebury and how real life is because at midd you can forget you are in a bubble. i needed a university like notts because credits transferred back for my major but if i didnt need that i would pick something that allows more independant study and more exotic places though at least i... I learned an amazing amount about myself and what I want from life as well as just how much I can actually accomplish all on my own because I really was all alone at the start of the year. I also gained an appreciation for just how widely diverse our world is even in a country like England where they speak the same language. I ... Chelsea F - Sarah Lawrence College View Entire Review

It was absolutely worthwhile. I had already spent a considerable amount of time in the UK, so did not necessarily learn much about the English. However I had a great time. The social life was amazing, and I made great friends that I have kept in touch with since then. Ryan D - The College of William and Mary View Entire Review
I learned to enjoy solitude. Most of the people I met in my dorm were not really concerned about anything that I was concerned about. People at the school were not very engaged in their program of study so I spent most of my time by myself. I suppose that is important. A student - Middlebury College View Entire Review

It was definitely worthwhile, and I got a lot out of it. While I've studied at different places/countries, going to the UK was very different from anywhere I had gone so far. I learnt a lot about British culture and loved experiencing it; I loved travelling around the UK and made some great friends at Nottingham. Not taking acco... I gained the experience of a lifetime by traveling across Europe and meeting so many amazing people from all over the world. More than anything my experience was validating in understanding what my personal strengths and weaknesses are. A student - The College of William and Mary View Entire Review
My time studying abroad was very worth-while - it was a much needed break from the academic grind and routine social life at my home institution. If I could do it again for one semester, I would choose this program; however, if I were to study abroad for a year, I would probably not pick this program. It was very worthwhile, and I have acquired some of the most amazing memories and stories. I still constantly talk about my trip and the trip was 3 years ago. I've gotten an in depth perspective of the day to day life of a British Business student living in Nottingham. I've been turned onto many new foods, drinks, media, cult... My time here at Nottingham was unbelievable and I can't believe its over. The people, the social experience, and the overall culture difference was just amazing. I wish I could do it again. Michael C - SUNY - Binghamton View Entire Review
I became more independent due to my program. I also gained great knowledge of my host country and actually plan to go back there for graduate school. Caitlin K - The College of William and Mary View Entire Review
