Direct Enrollment/Exchange

|
Direct Enrollment/Exchange is a program provider offering 1872 abroad programs. Programs offered include Study Abroad, Internship, Volunteer, Intensive Language, Gap Year, Graduate Program, High School, Research, Online Program, TEFL Courses, and Adventure Travel abroad programs in 121 countries such as Spain, Costa Rica, Italy, and Ecuador.
Below you will find a directory of foreign universities and reviews from students who participated in an exchange, or in direct enrollment.
In a Direct Enrollment program, students have the option of applying directly to the university they wish to attend abroad. Students can go for either one or two semesters and apply using that university's application process listed for international students. Sometimes these students are called Visiting Students, Guest Students or Free Movers. At the foreign university, they will be supported by the university's office of international students, housed with other international students and have the opportunity not only to immerse in a foreign culture, but to do so with students from all over the world.
In an Exchange, you attend a foreign university and a foreign student attends your home university, a student swap for a semester or year. Your university will handle the details of the exchange, you just need to find the ideal foreign university. Hopefully the listings and reviews below can help you down that path. You will need to contact your university's study abroad department or your academic advisor for details on the exchange because the number of valid/active exchange partners may be very limited.

"to be more independent"
A student Erasmus +
"Yes, I learned a new language and a new culture, but the language component will definitely be the most helpful."
Branden L Clark University - Worcester
"Living and studying in Rome along with traveling around Europe completely changed my life. To say that it was the best thing I have ever done for myself is an understatement. I learned more about life, myself, and the world in 4 months than I have throughout 16 years of attending school in America. I left Rome with a greater app..."
Shelby E The American University of Rome
"I gained an overall feel of independence and confidence in myself to be able to live so far away from the people I love. I gained so many close relationships with people across the states that I have kept in touch with and plan on visiting at some point! "

"I learned a lot about myself and it taught me how to manage my stress and be calm. But it also taught me how to appreciate being on my own more. For example, I traveled by myself to a few countries and it was so much fun and very relaxing because I got to do what I want to do. I travelled with friends and family too and that was..."
Nick P Drexel University
"I learned a lot about myself and how to be independent. Also how to interact with people from different backgrounds and cultures all over the world. "Absolutely a worthwhile experience. I would encourage everyone to study abroad! I learned how differently professors teach in the UK, and it seemed that they valued interaction with their students more than my home university professors do, which I enjoyed.
