"I had the time of my life in Italy. I learned to appreciate my heritage, while also gaining perspective on my life in America. "If I could do it all over again, I would choose the same program and take advantage of all the opportunities. I would have got more involved. "I would definitely choose to go to Italy again but maybe not with IES... It was really easy to just interact with other American students. If you want to just hang out and be merry in Italy, then go with IES but if you are really looking for a big cultural experience, go somewhere else. "

"I learned so much about myself through studying abroad. Living on my own in a foreign country was an adventure in itself, let alone traveling by myself and then immersing myself into a new culture. It's hard to put into words, but I grew so much as a person and have a whole new perspective on life and culture."
