"It was one of the best choices I have ever made. Studying abroad is something that everyone should do at some point in their college career. It made me practically fluent in spanish, and I gained such a great knowledge of the city of barcelona, and spain by studying there. It was such an international city, so it was great to ge..."
Milena R The University of Texas at Austin
"I loved CIEE and everything it provided me with, but I wish I had been more challenged. I could have handled more difficult courses as well as the challenge of living on my own without CIEE there to take care of everything for me. However, having a host family provided by CIEE was one of the best things that has happened to me..."

"Yes, only thing wrong was the drama that the other students wanted to partake in. Sometimes it felt a little like being in a small high school. I tried my best to avoid the drama but could have done even better by making plans with people I met during the program and trying to do something worthwhile in the city every day."
Kelsey S The University of Texas at Austin
"I had an amazing time and learned about politics and culture abroad."

"Definitely worthwhile. While I didn't really learn all that much, I met so many great people and had so many great experiences that it was 100% worth it. In fact I'm thinking about working abroad after I graduate."
Tyler R The University of Texas at Austin
"I loved it all: the travel, the culture, the night-life, bettering my language, etc. "
Rachel G The University of Texas at Austin

This experience made me realize how small and connected th..."

"I have a much deeper appreciation for the ancient history of Western Civilization and how relevant it is to society today. I also value discussion-based classes and open dialogue which I wish were incorporated more into my home institution's style of teaching.
