"Absolutely! I would not have changed any of it for the world, except maybe to have more travel time after my finals. The people I met, the sights I saw, the culture I learned, the pictures I took will all remain invaluable to me. "

"It is cliche, but I did become more independent. I was incredibly worried about going abroad, but the only way to get over being worried is to just suck it up and go. And it turns out that there was nothing to worry about."

"Yes, this experience was most definitely worthwhile. I gained more unique experiences and memories in 4 months than I would have imagined I could gain in 4 years of college.. I went rock climbing, scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef, camping in the rain forest, bungy jumping, skydiving, and horseback-riding. I learned how to..."

"Absolutely, this experience was worthwhile. I discovered a beautiful island, with beautiful, friendly people, and had the opportunity to travel a lot within the country (both with the SIT group and independently) and see how different it was from one end to the other. I realized (as did most students) that I was more confident..."

"My study abroad was completely worthwhile. I had the best time of my life and had some amazing academic and work experiences there; I was able to do things (such as work at Parliament) that I would never be able to do otherwise and my classes were really interesting with amazing professors. While I would have liked to have b..."

I had interesting classes, very good dance ensemble. I saw many theaters and concerts, made many international friends..."

"I've grown a lot. I've gotten better at putting my life in perspective (getting angry less), have creatively flourished, and have expanded my mind. It's cliche, yes, but it's true. Also, I had a ton of fun. I've said it over and over: best year of my life."

"I met so many people from so many different places that I'd never known anything about before. My German speaking skills increased hugely. I learned a lot about politics in Germany, and it was very interesting to see another way of doing things in government. Being able to drink legally was awesome, and the culture around alc..."

"My study abroad experience was one of my favorite parts of college. It is such a distinctive sensation to leave a country that you found initially difficult, unfamiliar, and very foreign, feeling like it is home, and that you understand it, at least to some extent. It was empowering to discover how easily I could adapt to circum..."

"Europe is a place for history and architecture; Australia is a place for natural beauty (especially the Great Barrier Reef which is the most breath taking natural wonder in the world). The country holds a "No Worries" attitude that puts things in perspective and is a model lifestyle."

"My study abroad experience was the best year of my life. It was a very fun year and really pushed me in lots of ways. I think expanding from what you are familiar with, really pushes you as an individual. I would suggest everyone to study abroad if they have the opportunity and Buenos Aires is such a great and fun city! It's big..."
